Overseas Pakistanis can apply for a NICOP online in the Pak-ID app or website (NADRA Pak-ID), or in person at the NADRA counters in the Pakistan High Commission in London and the consulates in Birmingham, Manchester and Bradford, where the photo is taken for you (Pakistan High Commission London: NICOP).
For an online application, upload the photo the Pak-ID app asks for and follow its on-screen guide. Sources disagree on the background colour (white or blue), so use the colour the app shows you.

Tip: If you go to a NADRA counter in person, you don't need to bring a photo.
Or make it at home. Picproved costs £5.99 (free while we launch) for one person's photo in every size you need, and it checks the size, background, head size and face rules before you save. The office still makes the final decision. Make your Pakistan NICOP / CNIC (Pak-ID app) photo
