Nigerian passport applications from the UK start on the NIS passport portal (NIS passport portal), with biometrics at the High Commission in London (Nigeria High Commission London: consular services) or, where offered, through the contactless renewal service that lets you upload your photo from home (BusinessDay: how Nigeria's contactless passport renewal works).
The NIS portal checks your photo with its image compliance tool before you apply (NIS image compliance check).

Tip: Run your saved photo through the NIS image compliance check before you pay the fee.
Or make it at home. Picproved costs £5.99 (free while we launch) for one person's photo in every size you need, and it checks the size, background, head size and face rules before you save. The office still makes the final decision. Make your Nigeria Passport (NIS portal) photo
