Who needs it

NEET (UG) applicants upload a postcard-size photo as well as the passport-size one, and the same photo is checked against them at the exam centre.

How to apply

  1. Upload the postcard-size photo (4×6 inches) on the NEET application form with the passport-size photo. (NTA: NEET (UG))
  2. Use a colour photo on a white background, the face and ears clearly visible, as a JPG of 10 to 200 KB. (NTA: NEET (UG))

How to take the India NEET postcard photo (4×6 in) on your phone

  1. Stand about an arm's length from a plain white wall, facing a window or other soft light, so there are no shadows on your face or behind you.
  2. Take off your glasses if you can, push your hair away from your eyes and eyebrows, and keep a neutral face with your mouth closed.
  3. Hold the phone at eye level, or ask someone to take it. Picproved's camera tells you when your head is straight, centred and the right size.
  4. Picproved crops the photo to 1200×1800 pixels, evens out the white background and checks every rule before you save.
  5. Save the file: it comes out 10 KB to 200 KB, ready to upload.
