Bangladeshi e-passports are applied for online on the e-passport portal, choosing your mission, then you enrol your fingerprints, iris and photo in person (Bangladesh e-passport portal, Embassy of Bangladesh, Washington: e-passport).
From each office's own website, checked October 2026. Lines marked Check are ones the office doesn't fully settle. Rules change, so confirm before you apply.
Tip: Wear a colourful top for the enrolment photo: the background is white, and missions refuse photos where light clothes blend in.
