Renew an Indian passport from the Netherlands
- Fill in the form on Passport Seva, upload the photo, signature and documents, print it in portrait, one page per sheet, and sign the first and last pages. (Embassy of India, The Hague: passport checklist (Feb 2026))
- Add the original passport with self-attested copies of its first and last pages, and a self-attested copy of your residence permit, front and back, with the original. (Embassy of India, The Hague: passport checklist (Feb 2026))
- Hand it in through VFS Global, or post it with a prepaid self-addressed DHL Express envelope for the new passport. (Embassy of India, The Hague: passport checklist (Feb 2026))
- For OCI, take the file to the Embassy at Oranjestraat 12, The Hague, with an apostilled town hall extract under six months old. No DHL label is needed since e-OCI. (Embassy of India, The Hague: OCI checklist (Feb 2026))
Tip: A Dutch passport photo wants a light grey background. The Indian one wants plain white, so keep two files.
