30 KB to 49 KB

NTPC 2026 takes your photo live while you apply. The signature is the only image you upload, and it has to be 30 to 49 KB, so a file that is too small fails as well as one that is too big.

Note on the sources: Older RRB notices used other limits. Check your notice.

How to make the RRB NTPC files, step by step

NTPC's 2026 notices (CEN 06/2026 Graduate, CEN 07/2026 Undergraduate) are on the RRB website (Railway Recruitment Boards: official website). The photo is captured live while you apply, as in CEN 04/2026 (RRB CEN 04/2026, paras 14.4 and 14.5.1).

Signature: running handwriting, black ink, white paper, inside a 35 × 20 mm box; no capitals (RRB CEN 04/2026, paras 14.4 and 14.5.1).

Save it as a JPG of 30 to 49 KB, at least 140 × 60 px. The resize above pads a file that comes out under 30 KB (RRB CEN 04/2026, paras 14.4 and 14.5.1).

Each step was read on the official notice it links to on 4 November 2026.

Official notice: Railway Recruitment Boards: official website. Always follow the notice for your exam, as sizes can change between years. Rules last checked Oct 2026.

Your signature can also be cleaned to white and sized from a photo of the paper.
